Booked with a junior for luxury pedicure which should have taken 1 hour. I was there almost 90 minutes, the therapist only gave me the basic pedicure, had to get a tutor to do cuticle work, didn't know what she was doing, completely didn't touch my heels as they were resting on her knees, wouldn't apply the nail polish (asked another therapist to do it) and moaned about wanting to go home. Didn't even say thank you goodbye to me when I left.

I had a wash,trim and blow dry with a level 3 student called Michelle even though I'd booked online and picked Mia. Michelle and Olivia were more concerned about their fellow students and gossiped rather than give me any client care or chat. Michelle had to ask the tutor for help with every step and the whole process took 2 hours. I have short hair! There were no clippers to finish the treatment and Michelle had to go hunting for some, then she was unsure of the products to use. The blow dry left my hair loking like a cycle helmet rather than how i wanted it. nfortunately because of these faults I've marked this visit low. Because, the tutor coped very well with what seemed like a lot of sulky, gossipy teens who were reluctant to do much!

The Spa area is all good. This was my third visit - the first time I came with with my 3 sisters in September - the showers were not in order and we used the mens/disabled showers between us. I came last week and the ladies shower on the right kept overflowing as the water was not going down the plughole. I had to get out halfway and change to the other shower - I highlighted this to the receptionist as I paid and left. I came yesterday and I was asked to use the men's showers as the ladies showers kept overflowing. I got in and tried to adjust the shower head and the whole shower/rail/ fell at my feet just missing them! I then highlighted this to the receptionist and used the one of the ladies showers that was working- Overall the designs of the showers is not very good - very constrained. Not a very good experience in the shower department.

All the staff were lovely and friendly .just wish a bit more time and effort went into the pedicure .

I was very disappointed to pay £14.50 to have 1/2" cut off the back of my hair, I've never paid this before and apparently it's in there new pricing system, however there prices are not on display so it wasn't until I got my bill this came to light, so a retouch and trim was £35, which is only £4 cheaper than my salon.
