I arrived at the reception desk on the 11th March at 17:30. One lady was on the phone another young lady was doing some work on the PC ,I was standing at the reception for at least a min with NO acknowledgement from the young lady at all ,I brought up the fact of her not saying anything to a client while standing there ! She said sorry and carried on with her work. What I find disappointing about this is that the young lady did not even think anything of it ,like it is normal not to speak ! A simple "she will be with you in a moment " makes all the difference Training to be a beautician is also about customer service . Maybe the trainers need to make it part of it because clearly it is not !

Have been for regular massages and know that the girls are training but have always been satisfied with my treatment, this time I think I just wasted my money there was no effort put into it and I was actually board rather than being relaxed and getting muscle relief, I also find that whilst others are training in close cubicals they should be told to work quietly and respect others having treatments but this does not seem to happen, I wasn't even offered a drink of water after my massage so I don't think I'll be risking looseing more money but thankyou.

Quite disappointed in my treatment and therapist today standards seemed below par but have spoke to receptionist about my concerns

The Spa area is all good. This was my third visit - the first time I came with with my 3 sisters in September - the showers were not in order and we used the mens/disabled showers between us. I came last week and the ladies shower on the right kept overflowing as the water was not going down the plughole. I had to get out halfway and change to the other shower - I highlighted this to the receptionist as I paid and left. I came yesterday and I was asked to use the men's showers as the ladies showers kept overflowing. I got in and tried to adjust the shower head and the whole shower/rail/ fell at my feet just missing them! I then highlighted this to the receptionist and used the one of the ladies showers that was working- Overall the designs of the showers is not very good - very constrained. Not a very good experience in the shower department.

I had my brows and lashes dyed. They were not as good as previously done. Brows were uneven an some lashes were missed

The spa was really nice and facilities were very clean. Both my husband and I had back massages with fully trained staff but our experiences were very different. Dans therapist was excellent and very professional. Whilst my therapist didn't introduce herself, she didn't check any medical notes or if I was allergic to anything. She only asked if I had any problems to which I said "I'm 13 weeks postnatal and I have a lot of tension in my back and a very week lower back" On my notes she just wrote pain. When she took me through she didn't explain what I needed to do - she just said lay down , face down head in hole. I didn't know if she wanted me to take my top off for the massage or not. I felt very awkward. Lastly my husbands treatment started 10-15min before mine yet we both finished at the same time So I'm not sure I got a full 30min? I cant say for definite as I wasn't wearing my watch. So I came away from my treatment a little disappointed especially when this was an anniversary treat and the the first time I'd done something for myself after the birth of my daughter. We did talk to reception about our concerns who said she would pass this onto the manager.
