I booked a deluxe pedicure as a treat to myself and was looking forward to a relaxing experience. When I arrived the senior therapist was working alone. She was manning both the reception and also delivering treatments st the same time. During the treatment she had to physically leave me for 20 mins to deal with issues throughout the treatment and also people came in to talk to her and disturbed us continually. Once a member of the public actually came in the the treatment room as she was booked in for allergy testing and didn’t know what to do as reception was not manned so my therapist had to redirect her. The member of the public actually apologised to me. . I could tell that the therapist was trying her best but she was working under too much pressure and literally could not do two jobs at once. My treatment felt rushed and I couldn’t relax and I felt cheated when I paid £30 after basically sitting and being attended to while the therapist was being called away and disturbed continually . It was a real shame I am not sure I would book again or recommend you after this visit which is a shame as my previous visit ( for a massage) was excellent. From a health and safety perspective it was not a safe environment either as anyone could have walked in and also if I had been unwell or needed help there was no one to support her. I do not blame her at all for any of this.

I have been a customer of Academy/Revive for many years. I booked a cut and blow dry for 4pm today, arrived and checked in with reception at 3.50pm and was asked to take a seat. At 4.15pm i approached reception again as still not called in for appointment i was eventually taken through to the hair salon at 4.25pm to what can only be described as 'total chaos' had to wait till 4.45pm as no sinks available. Well the hair cut by a level 3 student can only be described as apalling, no confidence to cut certain areas of hair then had to wait 20 minutes for Candice (teacher) to attempt to finish off with a very unhappy outcome hair looks dreadful had to cut it myself at home a re wash/dry:0( came out at 5.30pm to no receptionist and just left by Candice to wait. Very poor experience indeed i think your Thurs, Fri and Sat only appointments system needs more students, sinks and teachers! Wont be returning even after my years of being a loyal customer.

Booked with a junior for luxury pedicure which should have taken 1 hour. I was there almost 90 minutes, the therapist only gave me the basic pedicure, had to get a tutor to do cuticle work, didn't know what she was doing, completely didn't touch my heels as they were resting on her knees, wouldn't apply the nail polish (asked another therapist to do it) and moaned about wanting to go home. Didn't even say thank you goodbye to me when I left.

Staff was polite and pleasant on arrival but had got my appointment details completely wrong. After lots of "toooing and frowing" ----( I'll have to go and find out several times.) I was there for 1hr 30mins ---)TO HAVE MY EYEBROWS DONE.I'll think twice before visiting again. This was all 1 day before my son's wedding. I then had to go on Friday and find a salon who would do nails.

45 minute wait for pedicure- therapist not ready for my appointment- kept disappearing to collect equipment needed. Hair wash and blow dry- stylist very heavy handed - more interested in what her friends sat at next mirror where talking about- pulled and tangled my hair so much it gave me a sore head and headache I left with wet hair . Have been a frequent client before this with no previous complaints.
