Great atmosphere and professional staff. Wayne did a great job with my hair again. Services are definitely overpriced as I was charged £100 for a “cut” which was more like a trim that took less than 10mins on top of a £400 keratin treatment.

This is a wonderful salon with highly experienced and dedicated staff that really know about curly hair. The atmosphere is friendly and professional. On my last visit, I wished my stylist had been told I wanted a diffuse dry (I stipulated this when I booked) as it would have saved my stylist having to undo the straight-styling products she had put in my hair. This is a very small niggle. My colourist was away but I was provided with someone who had been briefed on my colour and who was as friendly as they were knowledgeable - I felt I was in safe hands. I had not had a chance to have breakfast or lunch before getting to my appointment and I was provided with tea and a lovely sandwich which I was able to select from a varied menu. It was good to be back! Thank you all at ED for making it possible.

My stylist and the next client’s colourist were cheek by jowl, which was claustrophobic. Further, the colourist had no awareness of how loudly they were speaking, which meant that at some points I could not have a conversation with my stylist. There was plenty of empty space in the salon. Spreading clients out in such circumstances makes for a pleasant experience. Today really was below acceptable!

Thought it was cheeky that the tea or coffee offered at the start wasn’t complimentary when I’m paying £80 for a 30min treatment.

My appointment was for 11.30, I had to be out of the salon for 13:30 and checked on my arrival how long had been booked out for my appointment as I did when making the booking on the phone. It was two hours and so I booked a cab to collect me at 13:30. I arrived at the salon early before 11am. No one started on my hair until midday! Apparently someone before me was late. If this happens, it’s should not be me that is penalised by having my set time delayed. What should happen is the person that is late then has gaps in their appointment whilst the hairdresser tends to the other clients that arrived on time. I appreciate that minor delays may occur but being 30 mins behind schedule meant that I had to cancel my cab and then couldn’t rebook another one which then led to knock on inconveniences throughout my planned day. This hasn’t happened before and that’s because I usually book in with Wayne and Jade but I didn’t this time and regretted it. Was happy with my hair but not the experience as left feeling stressed that I was late for other appointments.
