I have been a client for many years but have to say the young lady who washed my hair today was the worst experience ever. Firstly she didn't check the water temperature and the water was cold. She washed my hair with such force my head was wobbling and water was going all over my face and in my ears. The head massage was with the same strength as she had washed my hair, and when finished I was never asked if I would like refreshment. All in all I got the impression that she really did not want to to be bothered to wash my hair at all. Regrettably I do not know her name but I did inform Madeline afterwards. I have never had any complaints before but thought you needed to be informed of this. This of course has no reflection on the excellence of my stylist Madeline. My family already use the salon and have done for sometime.

Unfortunately I would not recommend this salon as even though the staff were very polite and friendly I did not come away feeling great with a new style. I didn’t feel I could say anything at the salon but when I left I cried a lot I was so shocked at how short my hair had been cut and it didn’t look anything like I wanted even though I had a photo of the style I wanted and I had long hair so it should not have been a problem. Cannot wait for my hair to grow so I can get it cut better at another salon in the future.

The young woman who washed my hair and applied the containing mask was heavy handed and quite rough water spilling into my ears and down my neck. The water was too hot and at times cold. She gave a really hard massage and upon washing my hair didn’t bother to give a massage. Usually consists of a light relaxing enjoyable massage instead this was rather uncomfortable because she was just so heavy handed brushed half my face with the towel when she tried to dry and wrap my wet hair into towel. Not a nice experienced at all. My stylist hiwerev was absolutely lovely and professional.

Not happy with the colour this time :-( Not sure how you are handing over but the colour is not the same as when Alison did it last time. This is the second time it has happened when another colourist has done my hair - why is it not correct on my record?

Pleased with colour thanks to Alison. Best hair wash and head massage I've had at the salon sorry I didn't get his name. Had to swap stylist due to illness. Nice enough Experiance hair looked ok when I left at 2pm by 3pm(see attached picture) it looked like i'd done it myself and not a salon finish. It normally last 2/3 days not less than 1 hour very disappointed as I'm going out this evening and I've had to come home and re do my hair not what you would expect when you have just paid £150.

I needed to book separate appointments for my cut and colour due to limited availability and staff rota changes as a result of COVID social distancing etc. However, the receptionist did not inform me that a blow dry was not included following the colour treatment. No assistants were available on the day to even rough dry my hair, even though there were only 2 clients in the salon at 5.30pm and lots of assistants clearing up. I was provided with a hairdryer to dry it myself and a diffuser which did not fit and kept falling off and rolling around the floor! (Although the assistant did manage to find time to promptly escort me to the till.) Not the 5 star holistic service promoted on Clipso’s website, or what I expected as a long-standing regular customer. I left feeling stressed and deflated. N.B. My previous appointment for a cut was an excellent experience.
