The quality of the service still does not match up to how it used to be. The quality of the colour and cut are fine but when I am paying a premium rate I would like premium service. I felt very much that the new colour technician and new manager are only interested in young female clients. My stylist was as usual excellent but increasingly I am wondering if the salon still delivers as it did under the leadership of Russell

The appointments are booked too close to each other in the last two visits I have felt the stylist has rushed me because of the pressure to see so many clients in one day. Disappointing as it doesnt feel as enjoyable experience when paying that much money.

Clipso would clean up if it bucked the trend of increasing costs of cuts once someone has established a relationship with their Stylist. My haircut is no better now than when I started but price has gone up from £22 to 37. I like my hairdresser and she is very good but for a mans trim its becoming not worth the price I am paying so soon I may sample different salons where quality looks good and price is closer to £20. I would scrap hair wash, head massage and styling. Having a quicker appointment without above should be an option for gents. Clipso should also do a family price if I bring all four to salon at same time btw.

I have been a client for many years but have to say the young lady who washed my hair today was the worst experience ever. Firstly she didn't check the water temperature and the water was cold. She washed my hair with such force my head was wobbling and water was going all over my face and in my ears. The head massage was with the same strength as she had washed my hair, and when finished I was never asked if I would like refreshment. All in all I got the impression that she really did not want to to be bothered to wash my hair at all. Regrettably I do not know her name but I did inform Madeline afterwards. I have never had any complaints before but thought you needed to be informed of this. This of course has no reflection on the excellence of my stylist Madeline. My family already use the salon and have done for sometime.

Unfortunately I would not recommend this salon as even though the staff were very polite and friendly I did not come away feeling great with a new style. I didn’t feel I could say anything at the salon but when I left I cried a lot I was so shocked at how short my hair had been cut and it didn’t look anything like I wanted even though I had a photo of the style I wanted and I had long hair so it should not have been a problem. Cannot wait for my hair to grow so I can get it cut better at another salon in the future.

The young woman who washed my hair and applied the containing mask was heavy handed and quite rough water spilling into my ears and down my neck. The water was too hot and at times cold. She gave a really hard massage and upon washing my hair didn’t bother to give a massage. Usually consists of a light relaxing enjoyable massage instead this was rather uncomfortable because she was just so heavy handed brushed half my face with the towel when she tried to dry and wrap my wet hair into towel. Not a nice experienced at all. My stylist hiwerev was absolutely lovely and professional.
