It was a good massage but I felt a little bit like everything was somewhat perfunctory and a little bit rushed. I know that these things are business transactions but I felt a bit like inwas just being processed rather than that she truly cared how I felt. My therapist also had a cough - totally not her fault of course but it did affect the quality of my experience when I was jolted out of my relaxed state by a cough several times.

It was a shame when I first entered the Spa area that a man was assembling some furniture so completely ruined the tranquil feeling I was so looking forward to! I think that job should not have been done when you had clients paying for their Spa experience! The treatment itself was brilliant but I could hear the drilling going on in my treatment room! Afterwards in the relaxation area was lovely and calm as your DIY man had gone into the garden area to some work. Just something to note for the future. I will come back despite this disappointing start to my visit!

I love the Rye Retreat, although its expensive, it is the best beauty salon in the area. My usual Therapist Melissa was not available for my visit today and I was allocated a therapist who was less experienced. Although it was, as always, a relaxing treat, I came away slightly less satisfied than usual. My skin did not feel much improved at the end of my treatment and I don't consider that to be value for money. I am not saying the therapist did a bad job but Melissa is so much better for me personally. I will make sure I book in advance in the future so I can get the therapist I want. That said, the young lady was pleasant and professional throughout and I am sure she has many satisfied customers.

Relaxing treatments but a bit disappointed that after waiting an hour for my nails to dry they smudged and this unfortunately ruined the look of the pedicure
