Every visit to Hiikuss Hair Salon is a pleasure. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making me feel completely at ease. The salon is clean, professional, and maintains the perfect balance of tranquility—not too silent, yet free from the usual salon noise. A special thank you to Florence, who has been my hairdresser since I first started coming. She is truly a blessing—kind, skilled, and incredibly talented. Her magic touch is unmatched, and after a good hair wash, I feel so relaxed I could fall asleep!

I don’t think it’s fair to allow me to book past 6pm on a Saturday as my stylist leaves too late. I need her to stay please make the latest appointment for any stylist to not go past 6pm

I booked an appointment for my mother Eugenie (who is 83 years old and recovering from a stroke) on the 2nd of April for sat April 19th. Yet when we arrived on time, The stylist had a young man waiting to be seen. We had to wait a while before mum was seen to. She was not greeted well but asked if she was ready, when we were the ones waiting. My mother only booked a treatment and no other service. It should have been a very quick visit but it took twice as long as the stylist attempted to wash, dry and braid the young man’s hair whilst doing my mother’s. As a result she left my 83 year old mother siting in the Chair with WET hair for a very long time whilst she made a decision to braid the young man’s hair in small braids. Eventually I went over to check on my Mum and only then did Jennifer decide to wash out the treatment and blow dry my mother’s hair. But she was going to keep my mother sitting there until she finished this man hair had I not eventually walked over. I tried to be patient as normally Jennifer is very good But today I was very disappointed, firstly this is no way to treat an elderly woman, whose appointment was booked 2 and a half weeks in advance. Secondly the stylist didn’t know what my mother was booked in for and was about to start Tonging my mothers hair, I Had to stop her from doing so. I spoke to the stylist at the end away from other customers, And she did eventually apologise. But how do you double book and have two clients at the same time, And not know who your client is for the day and what they are having?….And in the event of a double booking the priority should have been to dry my mother’s hair and not leave her head wet. All my mother needed was hair hair dried and no styling. It took only 5 mins to dry her hair and put it in a ponytail. I was very dissatisfied by the lack of care and respect today and will not be bring my mother back.
