I was charged £4 more (£20.95)in the salon than quoted on the website - they said for a ‘COVID levy’. This was not made clear when I booked online and, in fact. I got an email quoting me a total price of 16.95. Not good business - you are supposed to charge what you say is total and not add on surprise fees ! Ideally I’d like that £4 to be taken off my next haircut or refunded.

Today l left unhappy with my visit to Supercuts Orpington. I have been using this salon for a few years now but since lockdown ended the price structure has become confusing. Both window and counter price lists are out of date . I pointed this out to the stylist who said they need re- doing ! I have been charged a different price for the same service on more than one occasion., customer clarity is urgently needed. I also found the customer toilet area dirty ,covered in dust ,fluff and hair — not good in these Covid times when hygiene should a priority. Otherwise I am perfectly happy with my stylist and the service l received.

Very friendly and polite but I repeatedly told the stylist I had been growing out layers for a long time and wanted NO layers put in. When I got home I realised she has cut layers all over the back and sides! I'm so upset as it has taken so long to grow them out. She did recommend nioxin products which I now love but I won't have her cut my hair again as she did not listen to what I wanted.

I was looking at the window poster with services and prices and a member of staff approached me. I got a wet cut done which according to the window poster it was £20. I decided to give it a go because the member of staff was very nice. My disappointment came when at check out I was charged £26.05. £2 additional for the length of my hair and nearly £4 for a 'covid levy'. This was not mentioned to me at any time and was not in the window along with other prices. I did not get any additional PPE, the staff were not wearing PPE either, other than an ordinary fabric face mask, yet I was charged. I will never come back, this is a joke.
