I have used the salon quite a few times but on this time I was horrendously disappointed. The stylist Shireen seemed to be preoccupied with informing people she was not vaccinated, and due to ranting actually spent very little time and attention on my hair. I am not judging her vaccine status and each to their own, but it seemed to be very out of place and in more of preaching to everyone there. It was a very uncomfortable scenario, the lady who was sat behind me also was rather alarmed, we could see each others expressions in the mirrors. Due to her ranting she has spent very little time working on my hair, there are still uneven sections and I feel it was a waste of my time and money attending that day. Really this is not the way to treat regular customers. I am so disappointed now, I really do not know what to do.

I think Sally was knackered and it felt like she couldn’t be bothered cutting my hair from the moment I came in. I did challenge her on this and she perked up a bit. This was the first time I used spoiled having moved from Edinburgh maybe the experience is different there. I’ve come away with a terrible haircut that has made me look 10 years older! So disappointing. I can’t believe it was actually better when I cut it myself in lockdown! Now need a turban! It truly is the most boring middle age Bob. The salon is beautiful and the welcome when I arrived was friendly. One use plastic cup of water though was bit dated as is my hair!

Confusing experience. Absolutely lovely greeting and feel to the whole place. However, experience with Kimberly (had made booking chosing 'any person') was tense and communication was lacking. Had asked for layers but received none. Had asked that she keep my length but she took off around 3 to 4 inches. Kimberly was sighing heavily throughout the haircut and it felt like she was frustrated at my hair so I didn't dare speak up. It was my first experience in a salon and I regret not saying anything but kept thinking she might give me the hair cut that I had showed her in the photo I had brought in. Really hate to leave this but hopefully helpful feedback.

When I started coming to Spoiled my experience was always a good one. I cant say the same anymore. In honesty the hairdressers are lovely there however this year my colour does not seem to last the duration as it did before. At most a couple of weeks before it has completely faded out and the expectation really is attending a full appointment every 8 weeks or so at the most; this was always the case and of course fading by that point which I suppose would be acceptable. I returned after having only had a full colour and cut four weeks prior and had been the same the appointment prior to that where I had mentioned this problem. After my consultation and agreeing on a full head of colour (again) I was then asked for payment for a 'couture colouring' at full price for long hair. My hair is mid length to my shoulders and pretty average hair type so rather than the published £59 for a mid full head I was asked for £79; no special techniques were used just your average one colour over my head. I found it a bit cheeky, especially considering the circumstance. I spoke to the owner and he was not very customer focused and quite argumentative. I think if the salon are so concerned about the cash at the end they should be more transparent in their consultations about exactly what they are doing and what that will mean. I prefer to make the decision on what I am willing to spend and not be made to feel awkward either asking about it in advance or paying for something I don't feel fits with what I got - I am not paying a standard monthly membership, I expect to pay for the particular service type I receive! Not value for money and not a good experience. I shall have to go elsewhere and would recommend others do the same if they were to ask.

I was not made aware that my hairdresser was a trainee until after my haircut, and at no point did someone check on me to see how it was going. I personally feel that I was not listened too and as I result I have ended up with hair much shorter than I desired and layers which I said at the start I was not keen on. I do have really thick hair, which is difficult to work with but cutting huge chunks out of it in an attempt to thin it out is not the best solution. Additionally when asked how I would like it styled I requested it would be blow-dried straight with volume, and what I got was poker straight hair which looked limp and flat. I wish I had never got it cut by this particular hairdresser as I have lost all my confidence with this hairstyle.

Love my colour feel a little let down more of a trim than a cut also then to find a price increase of £30 from only 6 weeks ago is a bit steep. Staff lovely a bit shocked at the price
