I think I must have really misunderstood about which colours were going to be put on my hair. Normally in summer, I have the lighter 2 of the 3. I didn’t notice that only one was being put on. We were chatting and I wasn’t paying too much attention when the colour was being applied. I was hot and uncomfortable with the mask on. However, I’m not really happy with the outcome - it’s just blonder than I’m used to. I’m really happy with the cut.

I was pleasantly surprised by the relaxed way my appointment was conducted in what are extremely challenging times. I felt comfortable in the salon and obviously the wearing of a mask when the stylist is trying to trim your hair around your ears is a little difficult. Perhaps it would be easier for them if the client unhinged the elastic from behind their ears and held the mask in place by hand whilst the trim is carried out around the ears.
