The haircut I got in the end was excellent and from my preferred stylist who turned out to be available. I'm very happy with that. But the customer service beforehand needs some attention. My haircut was two hours after the one I originally booked (when I accepted that my preferred stylist was fully booked for the next fortnight). It was only because I was on annual leave that I was able to make the later time, and the reason given - there's no one available to do short hair until 12noon - suggests a high level of customer care. However, if you need to know in advance whether the haircut required is for long or short hair so that you can match customers with stylists, you need to change the design of your online booking form so that the relevant info can be given when the booking is made. It really isn't good customer service to expect a customer to change their plans at short notice because you didn't ask for all the info you needed when accepting the booking. I hope you can improve this in future. If necessary, please let the designer of the web form know because it doesn't look like they understand your business fully. I've provided my first name and city because I think anonymous reviews with critical comments are a very unpleasant way to behave. And I look forward to my next haircut with you.

I understand that customers turning up late, clients hair varies with regard to the amount of time required to work on their hairstyle - however, I was contacted about 3 hours before my appointment to delay it by half an hour, then when I arrived I was told it was going to be delayed by a further 20 mins. This has happened before and even someone took my appointment before. I think I will bee the first appointment of the day from now on.

Prices have increased again so not sure I still feel I am getting value for money, to add insult to injury aveda have stopped the £10 discount given in the past for loyalty, the complimentary treatments are becoming shorter and less frequent with each visit. The salon was very quiet yet the girl giving the head massage on this occasion was not up to usual standards. Hair service from Liz as always was excellent as was the service at the back wash, atmosphere today was a little lack lustre.

I have been going to urban therapy on and off for the last 6 years I like the extras that you can get like the head massage and if you have a hair colour you sometimes get a hand massage free of charge.

The massage with Shean was brilliant! He is a natural and I was very pleased to hear that he is getting further training in this. You seem to offer proper career advancement and a very good, vibrant staff with many different personalities, sexual orientation and body images- I approve! Nicole as always is an excellent listener and a thought ful and intelligent person, I always enjoy the contact with her. You also do my hair good, I only wish I could afford to come more often.

Complimentary massage was not terribly good and there was no cup of tea. Small points but notable by the absence. The hair cut by Ben was excellent as ever. Front of House needs some work.
