Our music is designed to create an ambient and relaxing atmosphere with a wide variety of albums available to choose from. Should you wish to provide your own music during your next waxing appointment, please do bring it along as we have an MP3 player or a Bluetooth speaker which can play the music you’d prefer! I had a nice pregnancy massage but lying on bean bags was not very comfortable. I was a bit disappointed that my massage only lasted 1hr10 when I had paid for 1hr30mins.

Thank you for taking the time to post a review for us as we appreciate all feedback. I just want to clarify that the Elemis Peaceful Pregnancy Massage is in fact a 60min treatment. The treatment is designed by Elemis specifically for pregnancy which is why it is performed on a bean bag as this will accommodate any of the trimesters. The hands on part of the treatment is 1hr then you have a 15min resting time to allow you time at the end of the treatment. The treatment is detailed on our website for your information. I am not sure why you thought it was 1hr 30mins, however, this is the time we book out to allow for consultation etc. I do hope this clarifies the treatment for you as I can assure you your treatment was not cut short. We wish you all the best with your new baby.

My treatment is always superb with Leva, Tash and Meg but the turquoise snd orange is very dated snd you need new treatment covers they look very tired.

I would prefer a much lighter environment, especially daylight and being able to see outside I did not ask for or receive any advice

Thank you for taking the time to complete our survey. Your feedback is very important to us. We try to create a relaxing & ambient environment at The Treatment Loft, therefore the lighting is kept to a relaxing level. Not all of our rooms have windows & those that do, do not have a view. If you had a Gel nail treatment then we have to keep the blinds down due to the fact the gels set with natural UV light. The only treatments that we use bright lights for is waxing. This maintains the ambient atmosphere for all other treatments. I hope this helps to explain our overall concept. Best wishes, The Treatment Loft Spa Manager

This was my first visit since the refurbishment. I was given a voucher for a treatment with my 21 yr old daughter. We opted for a massage. There nobody to greet us on arrival and we sat for around 5 minutes before we saw anyone. My therapist then came and took me through to the treatment room. I was a little disappointed when we went into the room as I immediately saw that the room was quite light as there was a window with shutters that let quite a lot of light through even though closed. This is a big factor for me when choosing where to go for a massage. Later I when speaking to my therapist she explained there were a couple of rooms that were darker which I could ask for in the future. I’m glad as I wouldn’t go back if that wasn’t an option. The treatment was good, I asked for a firm massage which I definitely had, it wasn’t a relaxing massage but I needed the firm approach I asked for. The refurbishment is very lovely but the experience lacked something, maybe I didn’t feel pampered as I have often felt at a spa. I would like to try a different room and a more relaxing massage, I may feel different then.
