I have emailed. As a perceived premium service I was disappointed as per the email. I didn't feel very valued despite Abi's loveliness.

Nice but not amazing and I was keen for it to end. I don't think I've ever felt like this mid-treatment before. While Sam was pleasant, it was as though she either didn't want to touch me or was half invested in the treatment. I chose The Treatment Loft because you offer Elemis facials and other treatments, which I am very familiar with. However, I have had much better experiences elsewhere such as The Haven Spa in Exeter. My last beauty therapist, Paulina, unfortunately left, which is very frustrating because she always went above and beyond to make me/clients feel relaxed, comfortable, and happy. I almost suggest all your staff contact Paulina and book a session with her to understand exactly what I mean. Based on location, products, and price, sadly the treatment didn't live up to expectations.

I emailed to make a reservation. Offered a slot a week later to have a particular facial and I turned up on time on the day. I was confused with someone with the same name (Lucy) and it was weird that they were muddled with me wanting a facial rather than a massage. Eventually they realised that I had not been booked in at all! Had a lovely facial but had they remembered which particular special facial I had booked, I would have gone for a more expensive, longer one. I couldn't be bothered to find the web page with the description of them so opted to have the cheaper, shorter one. When I got home, there was a message from reception telling me Id missed my appointment!!!! Bonkers!

The massage therapist was lovely, very professional, warm, and respectful throughout the session. Unfortunately, the massage itself didn’t meet my expectations. It felt quite repetitive and lacked variation, and the pressure was much too soft for my preference, even after asking for firmer pressure. Additionally, the oils used had no noticeable scent, which took away from the overall sensory experience. While the environment was calm and the therapist kind, the actual massage just wasn’t effective or memorable for me.

Nice enough, staff friendly, treatment nice enough, mediocre. Treatment room was on the cooler side. Treatment was good but lacked attention to detail. I have had better experiences with hot stones. Scalp massage part was not great, didn’t do back of scalp. Feet part of massage was very average. Back part got very ‘samey’, didn’t work into areas that well. Overall ok but probably wouldn’t book again. Nice enough therapist. Maybe not very experienced and did share that massage hurt her wrists, so I felt bad for her having to massage me!. It was supposed to be 90 minute massage, but it ended 5-10 minutes early. I asked for no oil in hair at front during scalp but this wasn’t listened to so had to go to meeting after with oil in my fringe. Not a great look.

Therapist was only three month out of college and followed her learned process for a pedicure but did not realise or notice that she had not removed enough cuticle or hard skin at end of toes. Disappointing as I had to keep pointing out things she had missed. She was very polite and friendly but clearly lacking experience. For the price I expected more than just “going through the motions”
