A lot of work was needed to be done but I’m so thankful I had Rhianna to do it. I suffer with terrible anxiety and she made me feel more comfortable. This was the longest I had been on my own for “me” time since my son was born 18 months ago. I will definitely come back again and I’m never touching box dye again!! The experience alone is worth the price.

The environment is aways so welcoming as are the staff. It definitely feels like an 'experience', I particularly like the massage before the hair wash. I never feel rushed and am always happy to sit and wait as it is so comfortable. I am unlikely to recommend it to my friends and family as it is a bit on the expensive side. I consider myself fortunate to be able to pay this price. Thank you Sally

Rye Retreat has always been a place of professionalism and pleasant customer service. I have gone to Natasha for years now because she does such a great job and is lovely to work with. She's been there through some experimental haircut phases of mine, and helped me grow it out into what I think is going to be my forever cut. Natasha also did an amazing job when I brought in a mess of a haircut- no unkind words on my silly choice to go to a cheaper (unknown) hairdresser who managed to give me a shockingly assymetrical (but not in a cool way) haircut- just superb talent and skill in correcting the bizarre issues that the previous hairdresser created. I've always been a cheapskate, but my goodness: I've become a regular at Rye Retreat. The wonderful atmosphere, the lovely smells, the great haircuts, and the relaxing extras (tea and a hand massage? Always yes please!) keep me looking forward to my next visit.

I have been coming to the Rye Retreat for about a year and a half, if not two. I always come away feeling like I have been taken care of and love the results. Most especially Lauren for fantastic hair every time, and Elsie who has given several great treatments and is a pleasure to see. The price is on the higher side but it feels very much worth it. I am always sure the results will be great and there seems to be no risk of coming away feeling disappointed. I now don't think twice about seeing Lauren to have my hair done. There is always a considered conversation of what is best and her advice has always been flawless. I have never enjoyed going to the hairdressers and was never one for manicures or beauty treatments but the salon itself and more so Lauren and Elsie make it a very pleasant experience. I would recommend The Rye Retreat to anyone as the salon is a lovely space to spend a few hours in and the people are great.
