The environment is not great at the moment for reasons outside the proprietors control and I know that there are plans to refurbish. The salon staff are very friendly and welcoming however over recent visits I have found that several of the staff are in the vicinity of the reception desk. This doesn't look so professional, especially if there is banter going on and it can be a bit off putting. I find it much nicer to be greeted by one person and seated by them. The attention, advice and skill of the colourist and stylist remains second to none and I am as pleased as ever with my hair.

I always leave The Colour Room delighted with my colour, cut and overall experience. Sean leads a wonderful team where nothing is too much trouble and there is always a warm, friendly atmosphere. This is my first cut (with Sean) and colour (with Kate) since before Covid closures and I am transformed; I couldn’t be happier. If you are looking for a salon where you will love every second of your experience and leave with outstanding results then I would go nowhere else. The whole team are a joy to be around and you couldn’t be in safer hands.

Fantastic experience from start to finish. Gemma and paisley did my hair today along with a lovely young lady. Had a complete change of colour from an old build up of brown and black to a nice chestnut colour with a few highlights. Everyone has said it looks georgous and I love it. Oh and thanks for the bacon sandwich delivered to my seat. Superstars. I will be back again as I love it in there. From someone who has previously been in the industry I can be very fussy about my hair. I’ve never left the colour room yet where my hair hasn’t been right.
