Little bit disappointed with my visit to the Colour Room yesterday. I has booked an appointment with Gemma (whom I have been a client of for many years), but ended up having my colour done with Leah. Nothing wrong with Leah, she did a great job. But there was no explanation when I entered the salon, or during my colour or cut as to what had happened to Gemma. It was only explained to me when I paid, that Gemma was on holiday and her appointments had had to be taken by someone else. When you're paying £130+ for your hair, I do want the choice of who does my hair. If I had known that Gemma was on holiday, then I would have wanted to reschedule to when she was back.

I went in for a restyle. Before I went in my hair was down near my waist, but after postnatal hair horror, I needed something drastic. I booked online after midnight, which was really helpful. I could take my time to make a sensible decision when I was thinking about it, not in the middle of a work day, which I would have had to do if I phoned in. Online booking made my experience stress-free. The options and prices were clearly set out, which meant I knew how much it was going to cost me and that was also a stress reduction. I had booked Sean, as I was having a restyle and thought I would go for the most experienced. The whole time I was there I felt welcomed, respected, and looked after. Despite being very busy, the atmosphere was very peaceful and relaxed. There was no rushing about, but everything was done efficiently. I met Sean and he was really quick to understand what I wanted (which is something I have found that other studios have struggled with, because they have their set ideas) and to clearly discuss it with me, so that we'd gone through all the thoughts and options and I felt confident that he was going to give me a haircut that would work for my face, personality and lifestyle. I was even happier when I saw the finished result. Great experience all round. Did I mention the pretty and individualised tea delivery? I felt like I had gone to a spa for a day! Thanks guys. I will definitely go there again.

The girls in salon are always friendly and helpful. The colour I get from Holly and cut/finish from Hannah are always just what I want and I am always complimented on how my hair looks

I always enjoy going to the colour room - friendly staff, great service, great hair at the end of it! It's not v.cheap, but worth it to know that it will be a high quality experience and to feel confident that I will leave feeling pleased & looking loads better than when I went in!

Always come here, great service. Lianne is a whizz with the scissors, it amazes me how she conjoures up such a great haircut, in such a short time!
