Steve has been my hairdresser for a very long time and is fantastic. The staff in both salons are very professional and treat each client very individually, you come out of there feeling pampered and refreshed with hair looking how you want it. The atmosphere is very friendly but also kept on a professional level. Refreshments are always offered throughout your visit which is very nice. The staff are always up to date with all the latest trends which is great if you want to try something new. I have tried other salons as i moved to a different town but was always disappointed and have always returned to Steve Hilliard.

I had booked an appointment for Saturday. When I turned up I found that I had been double booked. Fortunately another stylist was available to do my hair and she was very apologetic about the mix up. Initially I was disappointed that I wasn't able to have the stylist that I had booked with, but Kelly was very friendly and did a great job.

I love my hair dresser as she is lovely and always makes sure I am happy when I walk out the door. It is a nice environment with friendly staff. My salon experience could, however be improved in two ways. Whenever I get my hair shampooed, it is always a different person who does this, which is of course understandable, however one day I am really pleased with how they give me a massage and how they are very gentle and the next visit the person is very rough and skips the massage. I think if they were more consistent in their technique it would make the high prices more justified. Which brings me to the next area of improvement, the price. It is just too high and getting higher. I may have to reconsider going to this salon if the price increases continue. It's a shame because as I said, I really like my hair dresser.

First time for many years that I have actually come out of a salon and looked different. Kelly listened to what I wanted and the change was an eye-opener! Brilliant! Well done Kelly; she takes the time to listen and also to advise. Was sorry to see Shelley go but can highly recommend Kelly. Thanx!!!

I have my haircut by Hayley at Steve Hilliard's in Ampthill and I love what she does with my hair. Always finishes it really well and always come out with a smile. Would definitely recommend.
