This is a small gripe but one that is useful I think…. When asked which colour I’d like, I chose a dark red. It frr wee lt very obvious very quickly that this was not an option but I was not openly told we’re out of the colour. Nothing major, but for me - I’d rather a normal conversation rather than feeling redirected.

The Afternoon was very disappointing,it would have been nice to asked when we would like our hot drinks instead of them being on the table as we got to the table. It was on the table ready instead of being presented to us after we sat down so no service really. Too many sweet items ,only sandwiches which had clearly been made up much earlier and had been in the fridge so they were stuck together and didn’t taste fresh The mini donuts were tasteless and the scones had been frozen and defrosted and just didn’t taste nice,not enough cream or jam . It sadly let the experience down when it’s such a lovely hotel and setting so put me off dining there as the quality wasn’t there. The local lady who did my back massage was excellent I felt very relaxed and I felt I’d had a thorough massage.

My specialist didn’t massage my scalp, even though I paid for this service. The hotel itself was lovely.
