This is our second visit to the spa. The welcome was not as friendly and interactive with the staff as the first visit. Recommendation given for what products would be needed for my own facial regime were given in a leaflet, but no prices given or actual products shown to purchase. No samples were given either. On visiting last year they gave us a sample of the product they were recommending. We enjoyed the mini afternoon tea, although I would say there were too many sweet things on there and not enough savouries. Maybe a suggestion of small sausage roll or quiche to go with the small selection of sandwiches. The hotel seating areas are great for relaxing and unwinding.

It would have been useful to be offered a guided tour of the facilities and equipment on our first arrival at spa reception. Other spas provide this and we have found it saves us time finding things out for ourselves
