My cousin invited me on a trip to Bristol for a haircut from London, mad as this seems lots of people come to this salon from far away due to their serious curl knowledge. On arrival we were early and the receptionist allowed us to drop our cases and pointed the direction of some coffee shops it had been a very early start. When we were arrived back we were greeted by Louise who sat us down and welcomed us, she also sat us close by so we could watch each others transformations. Louise was my stylist, she gave me the most wonderful relaxing neck massage to relax me and that is very hard to do with me but it was amazing. She gave my hair a great cut and lots of styling advice. I am so pleased with the result and thankful that Louise was so wonderfully calm and kind and knowledgeable which is sadly lacking in normal hairdressers. Thank you and I couldn’t reccomend enough to my curly friends!

Always worth the drive from London at 5.30am! Wouldn’t trust anyone else with my curls. Nuala is a true master of her craft. Her professionalism extends through her team and it’s always a pleasurable experience.

I got a great cut and I love my hair, however, I did not feel the experience reflected how much money I was paying for my treatment. I felt as though I was getting judged for the condition of my hair and I felt embarrassed. I also felt as though I was just being rushed through and that time was not properly taken to listen to what I really wanted or was looking for. Personally I would’ve recommend as for over £100 for a treatment I expect to get a great overall experience not just a good cut.

Fantastic experience with Nuala today - the whole salon was really welcoming from the moment I arrived. I had waited nearly 6 months for this appointment and it didn’t disappoint. Nuala just knows what colours will suit you, and does it in such a natural way. Absolutely thrilled with the result.

I was very excited for my first ever curly cut, which I told the stylist. However, it did not live up to my expectations. I thought I would be taught techniques and talked through the process. The only thing the stylist spoke about was the products she used. She also used very high heat when she diffused my hair. I didn’t expect to pay so much for simply a cut and style. Of course the curls looked great but this wasn’t what I had hoped for.
