This was my 3rd appointment , previous appointments have had some bumps, however they were very minor. This time has been one disaster after another. From turning up to find someone else is cutting my hair , and not being informed before the actual appointment, to receiving 2 text messages whilst in the salon, asking me to turn up later (even when it takes 1 1/2hrs to get there) …. Being asked again if I’d like a shoulder massage only for me to have to check the product before it takes place as the oil contained lavender…. And I am allergic to it ! To my hair being cut at so many different layers I have long on top of short, very short pieces at the front (I can’t even tuck behind my ear) and when I asked if the lady could make the short bits not so blunt… to be told it’s down to my hair ! To the dryer being used too hot and too close to my scalp and one ear … that I had to keep pulling away or putting my hand on my ear to prevent it being scalding to leaving the salon with very wet hair with so much product that my hair became matted and it took almost an hour after my appointment to finish drying …..and I had to go home and wash it all over again. Going to the hairdresser is a treat for me, especially at this price … so to leave with such a bad experience and have to pay for the privilege is just down right upsetting. I always go with any recommendation made by the stylist as they know their craft, however when I said I didn’t want my hair to be in a triangle shape cut, I wasn’t expecting to have an all over the shop cut that just sits so weirdly … and be told it’s my hairs fault as it’s curlier in some places more than others ! As experts in curly cuts , I was looking forward to leaving the salon feeling a million dollars… not the way I did. Really disappointing
