I always look forward to coming to Nuala Moray because I feel like I have finally found a salon that understands my curly hair which is great. I had a great cut and was given really helpful advice. The only thing I would say is that the salon always seems to feel a bit chaotic- as though there are more customers than staff to help them, and staff can seem like they are trying to do too many things at once rather than focus on their customer at the time. It was more than 20 minutes after my appointment time that I was actually seen by my stylist, however the lovely receptionist did the best she could to manage the situation well. I'd love it if the great hair knowledge came with a slightly more relaxing environment!

Overall it was a great experience. My only other feedback would be around pricing. I had a dry cut without the styling/drying at the end but it was the same price as if I'd had the styling done. I think cuts should be cheaper if they are just a dry cut. This also makes it more accessible for folks on lower incomes and from marginalised groups. It would be nice to see a sliding scale payment system for those groups from lower incomes and/or marginalised backgrounds as everyone should be able to access a haircut.

It was my first visit to the salon, the whole experience was brilliant, they listened to what I had to say, I was having highlights and they recommend having a different colour throw it, I was very pleased with the colour, I will definitely go back and recommend them to my friends.

George was so lovely and was great at giving advice as I’d never had my hair coloured before so wasn’t exactly sure what I wanted. She suggested colours that were perfect for my hair and I absolutely love the result. Would absolutely recommend the salon to a friend. Thank you!

Lovely people/staff. Busy so felt alittle left out. Cut started then my stylist went off to sort someone else out and then came back after about 10mins. He was a lovely stylist and made me laugh and put me at ease. He showed me and told me what products he was using and how much of each which I found very helpful. I’m not sure if I would pay that price to have a cut again but I’m glad I had the experience l.
