It was a really busy day and thus I was late starting but that was ok as we had driven a long way and the sat nav took us to the wrong place. so I was five minutes late but the appointment didn't start until an hour later. The juniors were shy and obviously busy but they too need to work on their people skills but that sometimes comes with age. They were lovely and sweet though. The stylist I had was delightful and really cheery and knowledgeable and clearly loves her job - a great asset to the organization!! My daughter had a fabulous stylist -who was so patient and clearly knowledgeable and worked really well with my daughter who has very high expectations and only wanted the best to cut her hair - but it is a lot curlier than mine and she has spent years trying to work out how to maintain it. She was delighted with her cut and finish. She gave her a lot of time to discuss how she wanted her hair cut and was just so exceptional.

Expert and unique curly hair skills and techniques. Absolutely understood my curly hair and it's needs. The best hair cut I have ever had.

Thank you so much Ellen. What a great experience- I really enjoyed being in a curly specialist hairdressers. Lovely to have more than 15 minutes on my hair. I was there a whole hour and 15. Beautiful haircut- will be back.

Worth the trek from London every time. Georgia always manages to transform my hair and the whole team are lovely. After avoiding hairdressers for 20 years, I finally feel excited to go. Thanks so much.

I booked n November for an appointment in April with stylist called Laura. Received an email the week before with the incorrect time. I called to query and was asked to move the appointment to a different time to suit the salon. I explained i was travelling more than 100 miles to get there so could not move it and the girl reluctantly accepted the original booking time. When I arrived a young girl on reception could hardly lift her eyes to greet me and I felt very unwelcome. Turns out Laura had left and a lady called Georgie was going to be cutting my hair. She was friendly and did a dry cut and said my fair needed a treatment. I had the treatment and wash and then another girl dried my hair. I was sat in a chair leaning right back with little support for more than 30 mins which hurt my neck. The final result was not great the parting was litterally on the side on my head and my hair was frizzy. I had already paid 37.50 upfront and the total as per email was £75 so I had £37.50 left to pay but when I went the pay they charged me £114 which I paid but then I went back and queried and they said it because you had Georgie and a treatment which was £45 (I had not been told of the cost of the treatment). After an awkward conversation they reluctantly refunded me £30. So what should had cost be £75 total cost me £122!. I was really disappointed with the blow dry (the cut was good) and the overall level of service. I chose to drive a long way because on Instagram all the images are of glossy curly hair and smiley faces - this was not my experience
