I hadn’t had a hair appointment in about 5 years, and I’m not sure if that involved a cut – in any case, my hair had been a bit neglected (with ‘done at home’ colour damage probably being the worst offender) and Drew had some task on her hands. I’ve always had long hair, and had every intention of growing it, so was reluctant when she advised taking off all the damaged sections, but thought best to trust her. Even then, my initial reaction on seeing the change was one of shock. I have had time to adjust and to “settle in” to the cut. I have noticed just how much of a difference this has made: my hair is healthier, stronger and livelier. The colouring is perfect (it’s so nice to have highlights that flow with my hair!) and my curls are so much bouncier. I have received many comments on the shape of the cut, and haven’t (yet!) had to wash my hair to reset the curl. I almost feel like I’ve been given new hair entirely! So I wanted to say a huge, huge thank Drew for being a bit brave with it – she absolutely did the right thing, and I am so grateful. I definitely wouldn’t have made that step if it were me, but it was well overdue. I can imagine it’s hard to navigate when clients come in anxious and unsure, with little experience of salons, and am so glad that she had the guts to go with her experience. Thank you Drew.

Last time I came I did feedback on my form the initial welcome from the reception staff was non-exsistant and made me feel uncomfortable when I first entered , so lovely that this had been taken on board, I had a lovely greeting this time.

The service isn't rushed so I leave 2 hours for my appointment. My stylist is excellent, she has got to understand my curls very quickly and is doing a fine job of reviving them. I know I'm going to walk out very happy and to this end i recommended my mother attend too.

Everyone was very friendly and it was a nice relaxed atmosphere. Nula was gave great advice about hair care and products but there was no pushy sales talk. My haircut is fantastic and easy to replicate at home.

I'm really pleased I am able to write a positive review. After my last visit I wasn't sure whether I'd return, but the service I received today from Georgia and Ali was excellent. Georgia has high standards. I have never had someone take such time and care cutting my wavy hair. In turn, Ali listened to what I wanted to achieve with my colour and explained how best to achieve it. I look forward to seeing you both again in 2023.

The experience of having my hair cut here was great. It’s definately a higher quality of service than your typical hairdressers and the knowledge that the team have at Nuala and share is very interesting and useful. I was offered a drink on arrival too which was a nice touch. Very happy with my hair, the the wash experience and the healthy looking glow it now has. The only thing I would say is that clients could be asked whether they want product put in the hair at the end and how much and what style they feel comfortable with, as I have my hair quite natural and although it was interesting to have a different treatment and style it’s not really me.
