Everyone is very polite. However I feel if I am spending £120 for a hair appointment the timing should be kept, it was 40 mins late and I was notified 30 mins before arrival. I did not like being asked to have my hair photographed it made me feel like the experience was not to benefit myself and took away from the whole pampering yourself idea. Nuala was constantly distracted by managing other clients while I was there and for that price I expect undivided attention, the hair cut was nice but for that price I expect the customer service to be more individual. I felt like the salon was a bit of a hard sell pitch unfortunately. It is up to you whether you would like to contact me and I am sorry I could not be more complimentary at this time but I had waited 8 months for this appointment and was spending a lot of money and felt disappointed I hope you will see this as constructive feedback I have no desire to write reviews on google etc

£75 for a box standard 35 min appointment. 10 mins curl cutting time, 5 minutes condition leave in time and the rest dry the hair. It is my 3rd visit but this was my most disappointing and by far the quickest appointment I’ve ever had in my 46 year life.

I was expecting something for more than what I received. Was an average welcome of hello and then to look back at rhe computer. The wall below mirror was grubby with mud and boot scuffs. The stairs needed a good sweep,as did the downstairs loo. The fake flowers everywhere needed a good dust. Only 2 of all the people who worked there had actually "done" their hair. One was scrunched up into a messy bun and three just had hair outlet back into loose Scrunching. I would feel that if you are a hair dresses dresses specifically advertising Curly cuts all hair should be done as and advertisement. I was not charged the right price then I was called up on two separate times in the day where I was told I owed £65 and then a further £105 and when we worked it out it was actually £17 Even my hair I want that happy with.i have super fine fly away hair and far to much product was applied and the curls were nothing like all the photos put on Instagram. I feel that only the picture perfect curls get Put up online which is false as obviously not every client has those results.

I was expecting a curl by curl cut which I did not get. Hair was cut a lot shorter than requested. Cut did not make my curls better - but has made them less curly.

My first curly haircut and booked into Nuala Morey as transformations on Instagram looked amazing! Also had friends who said the experience was well worth the money. Haircut was good, had booked for a graduate stylist and only on paying was informed I’d had a stylist. I was kindly allowed to pay the price of a graduate stylist. I appreciate during the COVID restrictions the salon experience wasn’t going to be anywhere near as relaxing or special but when I arrived, after filling out the form and having my temperature taken, I was left for ten to 15 minutes-not told where to put my coat or how long the stylist would be-little things but things that make going to a salon more enjoyable experience especially when you’re paying higher end prices. Unfortunately wouldn’t book again as have an equally good haircut (although products and head massage was no where near as good!) at super cuts for a fraction of the price and experience was comparable.

This was my second time visiting Nuala Morey. The first time was wonderful, I was so pleased to have found a hairdressers that could properly manage my curly hair, which was coloured beautifully and left feeling so so soft with great curls all round. I was therefore so excited to return. Sadly I was 5 minutes late so didn’t get the usual massage at the start. No bother! I had a new stylist this time who made up a colour which was then applied for a long time while she cut someone else’s hair. It was also all over my forehead which later left a mark. My hair was washed with cold water which she sprayed all down the back of my neck getting my clothes soaked, which was unpleasant and stayed wet all day. Not nice in cold winter! After the wash, my hair was styled by the apprentice. She applied loads of product so my hair was slick with gel. Because of this it took ages to dry and then did not curl at all. She seemed confused and I explained this to her and the other stylist who came to help. My hair felt so thick and awful with product, and looked terrible! To their credit, they rewashed me. Again with cold water. This time it was very rushed and it didn’t feel nice. When they styled it this time, by way of compensating from before they didn’t use much product, and tried to curl hair that was so dry the hairbrush was sticking through it. Again, my hair did not look good, and to make matters worse the stylish dragged her fingers through my dried hair, pulling out curls and just making it frizzy! It was not soft and smooth at all. She then tried to say that it was my curl type that was the issue, suggesting they were already straight (this is true for only one tiny section of my hair). I’m so disappointed to say my hair looked better when I came in than when I left. I was so upset my sister came to meet me with a hairband to tie it up. What a waste of money and 3.5 hours!! I won’t be back and this is a place I will no longer recommend to others. Hopefully your stylists can learn that not all curls should be handled the same!
