I was quite disappointed to be completely honest. I had originally booked in for a colour service (after travelling 3 hrs to get there) but they said that the wrong service has been booked in (even though I had checked through phone calls and had asked when I came to collect my colour start kit). This meant I couldn’t get any of the colour that I wanted because they said they hadn’t put enough time into my slot for that to happen. I was really upset to be honest cause this was my first experience with the salon. I had to wait 20 minutes into the consultation for them to tell me this. I asked if I would get my 50 pound deposit back because I didn’t want to split the service into multiple different appointments as I live far away and had agreed beforehand that all the colouring would be done in one session. The stylist said they weren’t sure if it would be possible to do so to not lose any of my money I said I’d just get a haircut done while I was here. I wasted a lot of money doing their Colourstart patch kit which they said I needed to travel to Bristol before my session because it ended up nearly being 5 days before my appointment but I didn’t even need it in the end when they couldn’t provide me with the colour service I wanted. After getting my haircut done which was okay I don’t think I would recommend this salon to people travelling far or if you want an intricate service. Just honestly disappointed and will be going back to my old salon.

I love going to Nuala Morey. Everyone is so friendly and helpful, the environment is very welcoming and relaxing and my stylist, Paula, always takes the time to explain what she's doing and why, and together we decide next steps.

Everything was just okay but definitely not worth the high price tag. I personally didn’t find it a very warm, welcoming atmosphere and although my hairdresser was perfectly nice and polite, I didn’t feel like she went above and beyond and it almost felt abit scripted/forced when she did talk, only talking me through things when she needed too. It’s a shame as I had been so excited about my first curly cut and had come in ready to ask lots of questions, have a curly hair chat, buy some new products etc but left feeling slightly deflated and felt like I had definitely overpaid for the service provided.

Another fab experience from start to finish at Nuala Morey salon today! Thank you to Nuala for creating a wonderful team of ‘Curly Queens’ and for providing a welcoming, relaxing and definitely well presented salon. Best hairdressers I have ever attended, I wouldn’t know what to do without you guys. A big thank you to Kelsey, super star as always, friendly, talented, provides a fantastic relaxing head massage and gave me good advice on how best to look after my very thick curly hair. I also had the pleasure of meeting Isobel today as well, she’s so lovely and bubbly and made me feel very welcome when I arrived. Looking forward to my next visit in November.
