I got a great cut and I love my hair, however, I did not feel the experience reflected how much money I was paying for my treatment. I felt as though I was getting judged for the condition of my hair and I felt embarrassed. I also felt as though I was just being rushed through and that time was not properly taken to listen to what I really wanted or was looking for. Personally I would’ve recommend as for over £100 for a treatment I expect to get a great overall experience not just a good cut.

Have been several times in the past and had good experience but feels like there's been a massive shift. Never get to see the same stylist twice because the turnover is so fast, things that made it a luxury experience before have gone: used to be offered a herbal tea on arrival, head and neck massage to start, coffee throughout the appointment. Now because of the coffee van outside you have to pay for a tea or coffee whilst you're there for such a long time. Don't think any other salon I've ever visited has charged for a cup of tea! All the staff seemed stressed and miserable (previously have had lovely stylist but the nice ones seem to leave quickly), my hair cut felt incredibly rushed and impersonal, my haircut was ok but nothing to be buzzing about. Not worth the hype anymore.

It must depend on who you get, the stories that you see on instagram are nothing like what you receive. I just don’t feel like I was listened to, enough questions were asked and enough time and attention was given. I’ve been left with a style that will be hard to manage and a colour that is boring - specifically what I didn’t ask for. I made a round trip of 3 hours and took a days holiday to go to salon and was incredibly disappointed. I have made contact with the salon and they offered to rectify but what they were offering was not worth another days holiday and the travel time, which they acknowledged they would never cover due to policy.

I booked my daughter in for a curly cut having shown her all the beautiful before and afters on the salons website. The stylist said she would dry cut it, which was fine, but then she was done in 15mins, my daughters hair looked the same except for the obvious layers she’d cut into it. Nothing else was done except for one brief styling tip for school which I asked for. Even though everyone was polite, I didn’t feel like we got the service advertised on the website. I bought a bottle of the smoothing serum and in total paid £88.00. If the serum was £28.50, then the cut was £60. £60 for a 15mins dry cut. Apparently £20 more if I wanted it washed and styled. I feel like I’ve been scammed.
