I was so excited to be getting my hair cut here as I had seen amazing photos but I left feeling quite deflated. The lady that cut my hair was lovely (all the staff were) and my haircut was ok. I just wasn’t as happy with it as I thought I would be and I’ve been more impressed with a much cheaper cut by a “non curly trained” hairdresser. Maybe it was my fault for expecting too much. I’ve got to say £17 for a patch test is absolutely crazy as well!

I was expecting more advice about the hair cut and colour. The lady doing my hair was very lovely and friendly, but she could not give me any real advice about hair cut. She just asked me what I wanted and I didn't know. The end result is ok, but it was not worth going all the way to Bristol and paying the money I paid. On the positive, it was a very nice curly outcome. They cared for my hair as curly hair. But the hair cut is not that nice and I am still wearing my hair in a pony tail as a result.

I had been very much looking forward to my appointment but unfortunately my experience didn't quite live up to expectations. Their Instagram feed is full of impressive transformations and despite not being local to the salon I decided to book an appointment as I thought it would be worth the trip. When I arrived the team were friendly but I didn't get a proper consultation - just a rushed chat about what I wanted. They dry cut your curly hair but it's not a curl by curl cut. The strict hair preparation they request beforehand seemed pointless as they combed my curls out with their hands to cut it. I didn't feel that I got any real advice on colour either. Based on the Instagram photos and salon prices I was expecting a luxury experience but unfortunately it was far from this - it was OK but not worth the drive. The floor hadn't been brushed from the previous client and looked dirty. I also wasn't offered a drink until they were colouring my hair. Not what you would expect when paying £200+. On a positive they seem to know more about curly hair than the average salon e.g. Applying products onto wet hair and not towel drying. I'm not sure that they used the correct products (or quantity) for my hair though - I get better results myself at home. In summary - don't get too excited about their Instagram feed, it's an OK salon if you're local but probably not worth going out of your way for the prices they charge. I'm sad writing this review as I had been so excited about my appointmnet but unfortunately won't be returning in hurry.

I am disappointed with the colour. The dye on my skin around my hairline is so obvious. I had to come home and wash my hair and it is still there. The colour is also really dark so overall it does not look great which is disappointing.
