The cut was good, which I am happy with, however, I'm not sure the stylist I had understood her colours enough, as was unable to explain to me how a certain colour would look. I had said that I wanted a bright blonde, not too yellow and warm which is what she gave me last time. We agreed that she would put less blond through but make sure it was bright. She suggested I have a toner put on to take out any warmth. However, the one she put on was very ash, so my hair came out a very dull/grey blonde, which I thought looked horrible, especially on curly shortish hair. I have never had an experience where a colour technician has not been able to advise or understand what would work on my hair before. When I said I didn't like it at all and wasn't happy, the stylist got very defensive and told me not to be rude and walked off. I wasn't rude I just asked her if it looked like a bright blonde in her opinion. The Manager came over and apologised for the stylist's reaction, and suggested I wash it when I got home and gave me some shampoo to take with me. It just felt like it was very unprofessional, considering they charge over £200 for a cut and colour, there was nothing else offered to me other than come back in a few days if I still don't like it. On top of that, they should be more careful as they aren't using proper gowns, as when I got home I had bleach splatters over the arm of my sweatshirt. Overall I was extremely disappointed with this salon, they do cut curly hair well, but I also had someone else dry my hair, and it looked awful, nothing like some of the pictures put up on instagram. If you want to charge top money for hair that is fine, but you need to make sure you have experienced stylists both in colour and cutting and make the overall experience more enjoyable. I will not be going back!

Very busy salon, with a friendly atmosphere. Feel very welcome and am looked after at each appointment - I have had 5 or 6 now, with appointments spaced every 12 weeks (I used to go every 6 weeks to my old hairdresser!). My stylist (Ali) was very professional and offered me lots of advice. We discussed what I wanted her to do with my hair and she suggested which colours would blend well with my natural hair colour as highlights. She also gave me advice on how to care for my hair at night, the next morning and how to refresh my curls on subsequent days. We also covered how much product I should be using and discovered that I was using far too much! When drying my hair Kelsey explained how much and which products to use and showed me how to section and blow-dry with a diffuser. When dry, Ali arranged my curls beautifully (see photo). I can highly recommend this salon to anyone who wants to embrace their natural curls or waves and have a hairdresser who really, really knows how to cut, style and care for curly hair. Btw my hair is always cut dry at this salon.

I can honestly say I have never had haircuts as good in my 54 years. This is the second visit and on advice from Paula I religiously used the products which have transformed my parched, bleached hair to something totally different. I have nu curls back! Paula is FANTASTIC and I have been so happy since I found you. Thank you.
