Have had a great experience every visit at Miss Gertrude. So much so that my next two appointments are already booked in advance. On my recommendation my housemate and two of my friends have also started visiting the salon.

I was happy with the service but really unimpressed with how my hair turned out. The foils/balliage were not noticeable nor was the trim. I walked out 3 hours after arrival looking much the same as how I had arrived. The colourist offered to fix the colour as he acknowledge it was not noticeable but I couldn't be bothered waiting any longer. I was overwhelmed by the cost $265. Will not return.

I love Miss Gertrude! It's such a luxury going there, everyone is so lovely and they really take care of you and listen to your actual needs rather than a fantasy idea of what hair care and styling should be. I've recommended them to so many friends who have in turn adored them. The staff are great, the haircare is great, the coffee and massage is great. I love the relationship I have with my hairdresser, but more generally I really love that they never overstyle you (the way some other places do, so your haircut looks good for only two days and then terrible once you wash it!), they're super relaxed and the fact that you can book online is SO positive for me and other people who are very busy/forgetful/anxious. I wish everywhere did that! Really appreciate all the services they provide. Plus lovely decor and treats from Mr Kitly!

Lovely relaxed environment with staff who are professional and talented. I appreciated that they didn't push any products on me and that they offered a free tune up in three weeks if I wish. I recommend them highly.
