Christy is a lovely girl, love the way she takes care with my hair and takes an interest in my life. A nice personal touch goes a long way in my books. Even though there are a number of good salons around my area of Port Melbourne I am happy to drive to Gertrude Street, knowing I will leave your salon feeling fantastic, thanks to Christy's professional and fun manner.

I was really upset by the way the cut turned out. It was quite different to what I asked for, the fringe area in particular . I even took pictures in, to use as a reference for the stylist to work from. The fringe was cut short and blunt when I wanted it soft long and shaggy. The layers and the length were very uneven, I had to try to fix them up when I got home (I have a small amount of hairdressing experience). I normally get a (hairdresser) friend of mine to cut my hair, but he wasn't available, so I thought I would go to a salon I didn't know, for the first time in over 15 years. So upsetting, it's going to take two or three months for the fringe to start to look good again. This experience has turned me off. However I must say the staff were all friendly and the shampoo was done well.

Great cut, great service and the four week tidy up makes this exceptionally good value for money (not offered by all stylists I believe). Thanks Kylie and thanks Miss Gertrude.
