I REVISITED THE SALON AGAIN YESTERDAY AS I DIDN'T THINK THE FIRST ROOT COLOUR HAD COVERED MY ROOTS PROPERLY. THE STAFF KINDLY OFFERED TO DO IT AGAIN. I HAD SAID THAT I STILL MAINLY WANTED TO STAY BLONDE. THE COLOUR THAT WAS ADVISED UNFORTUNATELY WAS A STEP TOO FAR AS IT TURNED OUT TO BE TOO DARK AT THE ROOTS AND HAS MADE IT LOOK BRASSY THIS ALSO ALTERED THE REST OF MY HAIR COLOUR . AS IT WAS APPLIED STARTED TO FEEL VERY HOT AND FELT LIKE IT WAS BURNING MY SCALP. THE SALON WAS VERY BUSY AT THE TIME I DID ASK A STAFF MEMBER TO REMOVE THE HOT ELECTRIC HEATER AS THIS WAS MAKING IT MORE UNCOMFORTABLE IT WAS REMOVED. THE END RESULT OF THE COLOUR CHOSEN WASN’T WHAT I WAS EXPECTING. I FELT THE NEED TO WRITE THIS SURVEY THIS WOULDN’T STOP ME FROM RETURNING AS I FELT EVERYONE ONE WAS REALLY FRIENDLY AND WELCOMING. As ever a lovely visit, Louise is brilliant helping me to find a style that is easy to do and look good, she’s very patient. Also Abby washed my hair and gave me a head massage, she was so helpful and had an excellent manner. Thank you both for making my visit so relaxing and pleasant.

It’s a brilliant experience here not like a hairdressers at all, everyone is so friendly, lovely treatments and coffee in a cafetière. Vicky did my hair, she knew exactly what I wanted even though my explanation wasn’t that good to be fair. I would definitely recommend this salon which is more of an experience than a salon, if you want to be pampered for a little while this is the place to go!

After coming to Macadamia for many years for my hair colour/cut, my classic lashes and my nails, I can honestly say this place is not your average salon. It’s a very professional business with the loveliest, professional staff, all without compromising on a consistently warm and friendly experience. The decor is very modern and feels nice to be in. I’m never left waiting around for my appointment, I’m always seen promptly. It’s a very well oiled machine - I’d be lost without the place!
