The above relates to the service I received from Andrea hairdressing. I am very very satisfied with the service i get from the beauty team. The cut was appalling.

I booked a beauty treatment, had the skin test, and was persuaded that for a few pounds more I could have an additional treatment. I agreed and booked the two. I arrived 5 minutes before the appointed time, waited for nearly 15 minutes to finally be told I had only been booked in for the second treatment and there was no time for the eyelash tint which was what I had wanted. The beautician apologised but said there was nothing she could do. The reception desk seemed to think I'd booked an eyebrow tidy when I'd had the skin test done (applied by the salon manager). I accepted that errors can be made and rebooked to come back again on another day. The treatment was ok, results fine. However when I went to pay it was not just over £11 as I'd been led to believe, but £20. The initial treatment was only £7.50 that I had originally wanted. When I put this to the manager she said I must have misunderstood, or maybe a trainee had made an error. As the manager she should have picked up on the fact that a £7.50 treatment plus another would not have been done for £11.50 or so. The manager did say it was unfortunate but did not offer any recompense at all for not having booked the correct treatment, me having to travel back on another day and finally being charged almost three times the original treatment cost of the one I actually wanted initially. Overall I was disappointed with the customer service and therefore scored the salon quite low. Also, despite the beautician being very nice and competent, her hands smelled quite strongly of tobacco, which as a non smoker was rather off putting.

the junior who washed my colour off should have more training.She was very pleasant but somewhat rough.Both of my ears were filled with soap suds and even though I was trying to towel them dry she just carried on.In hindsight I should have stopped her there and then but I felt a bit embarrassed.

I'm never disappointed when I leave, I always get the service and finish I expect and pay for. Professional service which is also pretty quick, but doesn't feel rushed at all. Nice atmosphere in the salon also.
