This is the first time I’ve visited Jo & Cass in Lancaster. I booked the appointment for a cut and blow dry online a week or so before, it was an easy process which allowed be to choose the stylist, a time which suited me and offered all the different price points. Upon arrival I was informed my chosen stylist was unfortunately off sick and that my appointment had been passed on to another stylist. I believe everything happens for a reason and was shortly introduced to Toyah who was absolutely brilliant, kind, professional and friendly. I showed Toyah a photo of a style I really liked and I was incredibly happy with the result. I highly recommend the service and advice I received and I’ll be returning to see Toyah again soon for some highlights but I’ll need to call the salon to make an appointment with her as there isn’t an option to book Toyah online.

I had an excellent hair cut and colour at Jo and Cass at the weekend as always, the hairdressers are knowledgeable and friendly, super receptive to discussing what I would like and very considerate of my medical issues/chronic pain. Whoever I book with I always end up feeling and looking great on the way out. It’s clear the staff are all excellently trained and really nice people - I can’t give high enough credit for the actual quality of the cuts and colours I’ve been getting here for years - I don’t even live in Lancaster anymore, and I won’t get my hair done anywhere else, I’ve been coming here for about 15 years. The only one negative which has oddly happened on both of my last two appointments - I think just from a bit of bad luck - when my stylist asked if I would like a drink at the start of the appointment - and asked someone to make it for me, it never came. She chased it up later, and it still didn’t come. It took about an hour and a half from arriving to actually be made a coffee - (my poor hairdresser was super apologetic as I had seen her ask 2 people to make it and then she was obviously busy doing my actual hair) - it’s just unfortunate that this has happened on my last appointment as well. It’s just a bit awkward to keep being forgotten about, as it takes away from the experience when everything else is such good quality, and you’re sitting under heat lamps in the summer without a drink. Again, can’t fault the haircuts, just a bit disappointed that this has happened twice in a row.
