I’m really not someone who complains but as someone who gets their nails done often with BIAB I can’t believe the way my nails were done at my appointment. I had booked in as an infill as I already had BIAB on my nails but done elsewhere. It was agreed that UV gel was to be used to “infill” as different BIAB brands may not be compatible which I understood. I discussed what I wanted and showed a picture and was really not happy with the end result, it looked nothing like the picture. After every coat there was more filing which left the nail dusty which stuck to the gel. I’ve attached a collection of pictures to show the picture of what I wanted and what I got. You can still see the original BIAB placement and colour, and some of the nail doesn’t even have any gel on them from the filing. I wasn’t asked what colour I wanted they were just chosen, and the bottle of pink must have had the tiniest bit in because it had to be inverted each time more was needed. I’ve come away feeling really disappointed and stressed because these nails were meant to last for several big events in the next few weeks but now need to have them re-done. Also, the cuticles were worked on twice (before and after gel application) but no oil was added at the end of the appointment. The finish to the nails is now very scratchy and bumpy. I’m really sorry to have to leave this review but it’s just no where near what I expected from a nail appointment

No complaints about the actual time with Ellie, she’s lovely and so brilliant at what she does. Truly lovely girl. The salon is also lovely and I also really like Laura too. My only complaint is your cancellation policy that isn’t actually made clear in the booking process. I booked the appointment on Thursday and wanted to cancel on Saturday morning. Completely appreciate this is short notice however I am pregnant and suffering with morning sickness. I’m also a regular and have spent hundreds at this salon, I’ve never had to cancel before. When I called to cancel, the lady didn’t mention any fee, it also doesn’t say this on the confirmation email at all. I then got a bank notification to say you’d charged my £16. I find this crazy considering, I didn’t cancel because I wanted to, I cancelled because I was very poorly and it’s important to rest when pregnant. I called back up to query this and the lady said it’s automatic, so I ended up forcing myself to attend the appointment. I made Ellie aware I was pregnant and had morning sickness and she was so considerate and lovely. But I really am not happy with the cancellation policy, I think you should be more mindful of your loyal customers and their situations. I understand you are a business but for my first cancellation in years, this is a horrible experience. Again, I want to say Ellie and Laura are great, always so lovely. But please consider this policy in the future and understand my reasoning. If it wasn’t for the lovely staff you have at the salon, I would definitely look to move to another salon as this has caused me such an unnecessary stress.
