Really sad to say that although my hairdresser on Monday was pleasant and chatty they didn't listen to what I asked for and the end result is the opposite of what I wanted. I made a real point of explaining my hair is fine and layering needs to be blunt. So it doesn't end up wipsy. I'm also growing my hair so only wanted the ends trimming. Not a change in style. No new layers. Minimal cut. What I wanted was only the existing layers to be trimmed. Instead multiple new layers were cut in from half way down my head (so starting too short) and carrying onto the ends. Now it looks wispy and thin instead of blunt and chunky like when Hannah cut it and previously Chloe. When I went in Monday there were only 3 layers, these were clear to see and gave the blunt look I was enjoying. Because there were many questions about my life, work, hours, my mothers job! and others, I was distracted and couldn't see what was going on at the time. I feel my hairdresser got distracted and 'scissor happy' and forgot to check what existing layers there were and trim only those, instead just cut through my hair with layers and layers and this is what I'm upset about because they will take a long time to grow back out. My hair dresser styled it quiet nicely but that disguised the whispy layers until I had got home. Really sad to not have been listened to and look forward to a cut with Chloe or Hannah once I have managed to grow out the multiple layers (in many months time) which I didn't ask for :-(
