I was recommended to Josh at Black Orchid over a year ago and honestly… best decision ever. Josh, Adrian, and the whole team are just brilliant. They’re so friendly and welcoming, super talented, and always up to date with the latest hair trends — basically the kind of people you trust with scissors near your face. Now, Josh and I do have a bit of ongoing banter… especially about the back of my hair. We “discuss” it every visit (he calls it professional advice, I call it stubbornness 😂), but somehow we always agree in the end — and I always walk out loving it. If you’re looking for a new salon with real heart, great vibes, and a team that actually listens (eventually - Josh hahaha !), I couldn’t recommend Black Orchid more. Absolute gems. x

As someone who hates going to the hairdressers, I always feel at ease here, never feel judged and all of the staff are happy to share their expertise and recommendations without being pushy and ensuring the end result is what I want, not them.

Absolutely thrilled with my cut and colour! ✨ From start to finish the whole experience was brilliant. Kimberley really listened to what I wanted and delivered even better than I imagined. The colour is gorgeous, the cut sits perfectly, and I walked out feeling like a new woman. 💁‍♀️💖 Such a lovely, relaxing atmosphere too — friendly, professional, and you can tell they genuinely care about their clients. I’m so pleased with the whole experience and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
