I had a cut and blow dry at this salon. I had a stylist called ramona, the overall cut looks grea. The only complaints are she didn’t wash the back of my hair at the bottom and didn’t spend very long actually washing it. She told me my hair was dry because of the shampoo and conditioner I use (it’s actually because of a health condition so maybe worth approaching in a different way?) she did recommend a new product though. I also asked for my hair to be straightened and she wasn’t keen on that idea, she wanted to blow dry it. I had to insist I wanted it straightened, then once done she said it looks flat because your hair is thin. Cool story!! That’s how I like it! The straighteners were absolutely disgusting and need a good clean and she also put way to much hair oil on as it looks greas, she even dropped the scissors and said that’s cause I have oily hands 🙄 But…. I like how it looks, and she knocked the price down to the correct one as I’d booked in for long hairdo it was cheape. Took 40 minutes not 70 as it states on booking. Also always nice to offer a cup of tea! Personally I won’t be going back here mostly because side I like a nice pamper, bit of a head massage, clean utensils and not to be argued with when I say what I would like 🙃

I arrived promptly for my appt and was attended to pleasantly, my hair was washed and I was seated at the stylists chair. It was nearly twenty five minutes before my stylist was free to cut my hair. The cut was very quick as there were other people waiting for the stylist so felt very rushed. Not a very relaxing experience!

Everything was good except for timekeeping. I had a 6pm appointment and although my hair was washed quickly I then waited 30 minutes for it to be cut

I left the salon feeling like I’d been made to look and feel silly for wanting to use vouchers that were sent to me but wouldn’t scan. The voucher wouldn’t scan and there was nothing they could do because a 3rd party sends the vouchers. Why pay a company to track your customers and issue vouchers that can’t be accepted at the till?

I came in with blonde hair in a creamy blonde shade with light gold highlights and asked for it to be kept the same colour and to freshen up the roots. The lady that did my highlights didn't check any colours against my hair to get a good match and I've ended up with a very bland dark blonde colour, with yellow stripey tints, that doesn't make me feel or look very good at all. Another point I wasn't happy with was being asked if the colour was ok when I had damp hair, I only booked in for highlights but fully expected to leave with dry hair. I don't think you can get a good idea of the colour if your hair is still damp. Also I was left by my hairdresser as her shift finished. I would hope that the person that started the colour would be there to finish it to get the right results and not book a slot with someone when their shift finishes half way through an appointment. She was a lovely lady and very attentive offering tea and chatting away, but I don't feel she listened to my request regarding my hair colour. I've been left feeling dowdy and dull on the lead up to my 40th birthday this Sunday with no time to rectify it. I'm absolutely gutted and probably won't return, it's a real shame as it's such a nice salon with lovely people.
