CHAPS is a bespoke male grooming salon dedicated to making gents look & feel good! More than a barbers; sunbeds to stylists, massage and waxing!
Chaps has been established in Canterbury, Kent since Feb 2014, offering an array of treatments designed specifically for men.
We now have a female hair and beauty salon called Chapettes; all the same charisma as Chaps but catering for the ladies.

I’d give so much more than 10/10 if the system allowed. Changing barbers is difficult but especially when you have a disability. It’s not something I’m ashamed of but it does induce anxiety. However, with chaps I didn’t need to worry. They were really responsive in messages and more than just accommodating. They made sure a ramp out ready for me to use, as soon as I was in they offered me a drink (which was something I’d never experienced before) and the moved things around so I can get in the chair easier. Andrea looked after me, I’m not the best when I comes to verbalising what I want but i showed her a picture, she was very receptive and helped me tailor what I wanted so it would suit me. All the staff are great people and really seem to enjoy their work which is nice to see. I can quite honestly say the beard sculpt especially is the best experience I’ve ever had in a barbers! I come out feeling like royalty and an amazing beard if I do say so myself. Cannot recommend Andrea enough, accommodating, chatty and professional. If you’re anything like me, the price is a big factor in determining where to go but trust me the quality of work, the environment and the general experience is well worth the price. Thanks Andrea and team for making me feel so welcomed!
