I had not booked a director but a stylist but on the till was charged a director's fee - had I realised I would have expected a far better service and consultation on the cut. The trainee doing the wash and hand-massage was disappointing. No pressure whatsoever for the head massage, just a lush touch on the head. The same at the hand massage, in addition to very warm hands, it was an unpleasant experience which I stopped. I was not offered an alternative. A disappointing experience at your salon today.

I was disappointed with my recent haircut. The stylist was friendly and courteous, but she didn’t seem experienced or confident, even though I have short, thick cropped hair—nothing particularly challenging. I explained and showed her how I usually like it styled, but she struggled to follow. The blow dry was rushed and unflattering, and I was genuinely surprised by how she chose to finish my hair. She also used thinning scissors, which didn’t seem necessary and left my hair looking uneven—suggesting a lack of proper technique. On top of that, the salon itself could really do with a clean. There was visible dust on the styling stations, and overall it felt quite tired and in need of attention. I left the salon feeling disappointed and won’t be returning.

i was really disappointed with Brothers. It wasn't the Aveda experience I've come to expect. My appointment was over half an hour late, which happens, I know, and they did offer me tea, but the bench in the waiting area is very uncomfortable and there was no hand massage, which is an Aveda must-have! Then my poor stylist was rushed through my cut, with someone coming in halfway through to tell her that her next appointment was there and she would do my blow dry. I'm not entirely sure my cut was even finished! I liked my stylist, she seemed quite nice; but I doubt I'll ever return. It was like the McDonalds of hair salons, except way too expensive for the service you get.

While salon was nice and staff were very friendly, unfortunately the staff member who performed the beauty service (waxing) was completely inexperienced and resulted in a less than desirable experience that I would not repeat nor recommend.

The stylist who coloured my hair had no interest in providing a good experience she seemed in a hurry and I was a inconvenience for her. She did not even check before washing my hair to see if it had been covered as I mentioned several times that I have problems with grey hair.
