QT was great as always. Always thorough even though it takes longer than expected to cut/dry my hair due to the volume he doesn't ever seem as though he's rushing to get me out the door.

I have always loved coming to Billy Basin and even though getting your hair cut is a necessity I have always enjoyed the quality of service and the extra attention to detail, and didn't mind paying that little bit extra. Unfortunately due to the financial climate I have had to rethink my attitute towards spending extra for a bit more pampering.

The only non-excellent rating is for whether I'd recommend this place - I'd definitely recommend it to anyone with typical European hair like mine, but I have no idea if Billy Basin can accommodate people with e.g. afro hair or dreadlocks. They don't advertise whether they can.

Lovely environment, friendly and clean. I have had many good experiences here. It's not the cheapest place but is competitively priced and offers a wide range of services. Billy Basin was recommended to me by a friend and I have in turn recommended them to others!

I have always been very pleased with the service that I have received at this salon. As soon as you walk through the door you are met with a very friendly receptionist and the staff are all very attentive. There is always a lively fun atmosphere and a welcoming offer of tea and coffee. The standard of hairdressing is excellent and nothing is too much trouble for them. I would thoroughly recommend this salon.
