Established by David Barron in 1969, Barron Hairdressing is a testament to the test of time, building a reputation for offering the highest level of all hairdressing services for men, women and children of all ages.  


We aim to ensure that every client receives a five-star service starting with a warm friendly greeting and an in-depth consultation to decide upon the most suited look taking into account bone structure, facial features, hair characteristics and importantly, the ease of which the hair can be maintained between visits.

I am a regular customer and I have never been disappointed! It is easy to find a suitable slot when booking and the Salon is conveniently located. I have basic but clear requirements: a good haircut. As always... I have had the best quality haircut I could get in London. I have been here for a while... and definitely Barrons is at the top for quality and reliability. Pretty sure I am coming back in a couple of months.

re the environment, my little corner of the salon was getting very hot so went and stood by the open door and then sat by the (not being used) washbasins - an employe did come up and say he would turn the a/c on, which was fine. I was also underneath a loudspeaker in the ceiling and found the music (some radio station) pretty dire - I've had it turned off before when I've visited when there has just been me and a couple of staff members - not sure it adds to the ambience when the salon is full and busy. obviously in grumpy mood but everything else as good as usual

The haircut as a finished style is fine. Not the best or worst. Definitely not value for money. Hardly anyone spoke to me in the salon including my stylist who was either too shy or had insufficient English to speak to me. The radio was too loud and tuned to an awful station. The hair wash was rough and uncomfortable. There was no massage. Instructions as where to put my head etc. were either given entirely by hand gesture or inaudible half sentences. The stylist used scissors to thing / fan the hair cut at the end. This was very painful and when I said it hurt the reply was simply 'I know' and I had to ask her to stop. It was not worth £50 I definitely won't be returning and will not be recommending to anyone. Quite to opposite.
