I can’t express how grateful I am for the excellent service Shades of Stevenage provided for my son today. He is 4.5 and has always hated having his hair touched or brushed, let alone cut! Nikki was so patient and lovely with him he was put as ease from the start and as she was cutting his hair I was flabbergasted that not only did he tolerate the whole haircut, he actually enjoyed it!!! I never thought I’d see the day so soon after every other attempt and a haircut being so traumatic for him. The separate room and lights etc helped as a distraction and it is just a huge relief for me that his thick mop of hair has now been cut into a beautiful short haircut that will keep him cool all summer! Thank you SO much!

How welcome and comfortable I felt, so friendly, my hair was was done to perfection. Very happy with my hair couldn’t have wish for better, very professional and experienced hairdresser. This will be my permanent hairdresser in future, without a doubt.
