Sadly some personal problems had kept me away from the salon for all of six months; but upon my entering the salon yesterday (22nd May 2018), I was greeted, by lovely Sian, as warmly as I'd have been had I managed to be (in those months) her most regular customer. Three (or so) years ago I began visiting Sian (at the outset I was buying the simplest of services, trimming with clippers of my beard); over those years, she has found the most gentle, and tactful, ways of encouraging me to upgrade my salon experience - i.e. try undergoing some new experiences, some further services. It proved yesterday that, over and above having the beard done, I underwent, for the first-ever time from Sian, a full-on haircut. It was a delightful experience and it'll be my privilege, going forward, to always return to Sian, whatever it is I'm needing.
