My appointment at Sloanes Shaftesbury was completely perfect. It was an oasis of calm on my wedding morning, aided by the delicious coffee, the shoulder, head and hand massages and the lovely aesthetic of the salon. Claire blow-dried and styled my hair exactly as I wanted it - it couldn't have turned out better, despite this being our first encounter. It was a wild and stormy January day and amazingly my hair still looked fab by evening, even after being exposed to the elements. I'm so pleased with how it looks in my wedding photos!

I am a new customer having just moved to the area. The salon was recommended to me. The staff have been lovely and are aware I do have a degenerative neurological disease that makes walking challenging. My only issue with the overall environment is to do with the main entrance and customer toilet. Given the age of the building I do understand that it is difficult to make the area fully accessible. I think the front door entrance could be improved with this in mind - it is challenging to open the front door - an electric button to press would be great. Also, with the customer toilet there are a couple of steps up to the corridor leading to the WC which could be altered perhaps to a slight ramp. Once inside the WC, a grab bar at the side of the toilet would be of great assistance. Otherwise, I am very happy with my new hairdresser.

Clare did a really nice job in my first appointment since Ashleigh has been on maternity leave. I appreciated that she took the time to understand what I'd had done during my last visit and took the time to make sure that I was happy - offering the opportunity to make any changes I may want at the end.
