The colour wasn’t fully washed out (I have some on my scalp). That’s the only reason why I’ve given a lower score for the quality of my service experience.

The person who washed my hair didn’t wash the colour out properly so I had to come home and wash my hair. There is also a colour mark on the collar of my jacket from my hair, which means I will have to use stain remover and then wash the jacket. The ratings I have given above reflect the colourist, who I was happy with. The last rating about recommending to others is my combined rating with the above.

Always very happy with Maddie's work, from colouring to the cut and blow-dry. I have been quite frustrated with timing issues however for the last few years. I feel the appointment times for any type of colouring are over-extended, to allow the stylist to juggle two appointments simultaneously. A mere root dye + cut & blow-dry normally takes 2.5hrs! However, when I arrived yesterday for my appointment at 10am, I wasn't seen until 10.22am. The dye application then took no more than 15 minutes, and was washed off when my stylist had finished applying dye to another customer's hair. The washing took no longer than 15 minutes either, and the cut and blow-dry was completed just before noon. My entire appointment was completed within 1.5hrs, though I was waiting from 9.45am to 10.22am - however the actual time of service was palatable. Many other times I have visited and the root touch up has taken the full 2.5hrs or just over. The appointment length depends heavily on what another customer wants doing to their hair between your appointment, which makes time management impossible due to the unpredictability. Once I waited for well over an hour with dye in my hair before it was rinsed, as my stylist at the time (Mel) was asked to do a full head of highlights in between my colour and cut. I spent well over 2.5hrs for a simple root dye that day (this was perhaps 2 years ago) but my service time has been unpredictable and inconsistent over many years now. Apart from timing issues however, I'm always happy with whatever I'm getting done, always offered refreshments and always spoken to nicely. It's just the unnecessarily long appointments that frustrate me.

Lovely and friendly staff however, yet again my colour was washed off by a trainee/apprentice, which is fine as I appreciate that they are learning, but I do think they should be shown better or supervised when first starting out as i had to leave with soaking wet hair due to taking so long and my parking ticket running out. There was hair dye still left on my skin and when I did get home and dry it myself there was still product on my hair. I called the salon and my complaint was dealt with well but this is the second time I have had to rewash my hair due to shampoo/conditioner not being washed out properly.
