Applies to men's cut but some of what I say may apply to anyone considering the services of RAW, Dartford. Environment, the salon is richly decorated but not pretentious, welcoming to all who wish to enter. The lobby has comfortable and stylish seating and I've always been offered a drink of my choice whether I am waiting or being seen straight away. There is also a friendly black spaniel, 'Seb' (Sebastian) who is always happy to meet you (he is a trained and licensed support dog, and a very good boy :)), but if you have a fear of dogs, do call ahead and the salon owner, Kim, is more than happy (and so is 'Seb') to be given a delicious treat to gnaw on in the back office, completely out of sight. Treatment, by far the most friendly salon, if not establishment in Dartford and beyond. After just a few visits, all staff seem to have memorised your name and treat you as family. I have been going to this salon coming on 4-5 years but I remember just how I felt on my first few appointments. I used to frequent barbers, which is common place for a man, but I never felt out of place in Raw, Dartford, on the contrary, the treatment felt 'special', but importantly, sincere and warming. I look forward to every appointment, like going to see close family and friends to catch up on the last couple of weeks events. Service, There is a reason I've stuck with Raw, Dartford and never looked back and it isn't just for the charming hospitality. I've simply not had a better service anywhere else, and I have tried everywhere else. I have short blonde hair which is every barber's nightmare, and you better believe I've had horrendous cuts. Never once have I had a bad, not even a satisfactory cut, I always leave with a high quality cut, EVERYTIME! These ladies are so talented at their craft and I never knew I could be so happy with my hair style and cut. I've had three hair stylists/dressers since attending Raw, Dartford (1 left after maternity, another due to moving home) and the quality does not falter between them. Though admittedly, Kim now cuts my hair and whilst I did not think my cut could get better after the previous two, she proved that possible. I've consulted on different styles and cuts and even had a beard trim and style. Each time I've been happy and never had to return for corrections. Quality of Advice, Obviously I have high opinions of Raw, Dartford, but to give you a recent example of advice... I was considering a close fade, something my wife was pleading against. I spoke with Kim about what could be achieved and whether something similar to a fade would untimely suit me (as I say I am blonde). Kim talked me through the options together and we settled on a good medium ground and once the cut was finished, I could see the advice she gave paid off. My wife loved it and I still had a close side cut that I was after. Through the years I have asked for various advice and have alawys been happy with the time, patience and quality of knowledge in the advice provided. Value, you pay for what you get at Raw, Dartford. It's top quality and the value you pay reflects that perfectly. Could I get a £12 cut, yes, but I could just as easily get a similar standard doing it myself. I pay more and I get more. It's really quite that simple. It's one thing to be 'cheap', but value really is in the quality; which Raw, Dartford has bundles of. Refer to others, yes, always.
