As always, a great experience. Bloc is a truly lovely salon. Bo is excellent at what she does. Aside from own hair, you see her work miracles on others’ hair- I observed a transformation from dry, yellow straw like hair to fresh, reflective and glossy blonde while I was awaiting my own service and colour development. It was amazing. I like the fact Bloc use Davines. I’m always treated well on every visit. Thank you.

Came to Bo a couple of times previously for hair cuts and wanted to get it dyed this time. She did not disappoint . Was in the salon for around 4hrs but made me feel welcome and comfortable. My hair looks amazing!! She gave me advice on when to use purple shampoo and how to maintain the colour and condition.

Bloc is a fantastic new(ish) salon slap-bang in the centre of Reading, where the staff are friendly and knowledgeable; and the hair cuts and styling are the best in town. Literally. The professional products in the salon feel very high-end, rather than the generic, albeit expensive brands that you tend to see, even in the more well-known local chain and independent hairdressers. There's a visible effort at maintaining strong environmental credentials throughout, from the B Corp accredited haircare range to the biodegradable towels used when washing clients' hair. I've had compliments on my hairstyle and condition since I was there and I can see and feel th difference in my hair. I've already booked in for my next treatments and recommend this place if you're looking for a great haircut, a new style, or plant-based products.
