It is a shame that the sofa is gone from the reception area. It would be nice to be able to have hot stone massage. The shell massage seems expensive.

I would highly recommend your therapists and receptionist but I do feel that the salon needs to decorated as nice decor and cleanliness make you feel more relaxed.

The facial itself was fabulous, and the therapist that I had was great. I have found that the front desk service since it has changed to Cove, has been awful. The last few times I have found the front desk unhelpful and not carrying on the service that is offered during the facial. Also, the fact the therapist doesn't come out and take payment/discuss products any more is strange, as this use to be custom. Also, I booked after receiving a 30% off email, yet the front desk tried to argue that I hadn't and that this offer was only valid on certain days. Now upon re-reading this email, it says 'Receive 30% OFF all Massages, Facials and Nails treatments on booking over £50 on Tuesday 18th & Wednesday 19th May!' Now from my reading this is for bookings made on these dates, which I did. It ruins the treatment when I have to have an confrontation with the front desk upon payment.

I'm extremely sorry if you felt our explanation of the voucher you had as an argument and our resolution a confrontation. Our intention was to provide you with a great treatment, relaxing atmosphere and a positive experience overall, which I felt I had achieved on you departure - apologies this isn't how you have felt. The only reason I have marked down on this visit is nothing to do with the treatment but the experience of visiting The Cove. You really need to do something about putting in air conditioning, it is so hot it is actually unpleasant. I only sat in reception for a couple of minutes and the heat was almost unbearable and can't imagine what it would be like to sit there for a manicure. The sun was blazing in and both the client and the therapist would be in a lot of discomfort. The treatment room had a fan in but the only way to make it bearable was to keep the door open which wouldn't have been possible if I was having any sort of intimate treatment. I have been using this salon since it opened when it was Epitome and it has always been the same. In the middle of a heatwave, I would seriously have to think twice about what sort of treatment I had due to the heat.
